Location Recording

Our facilities for location/concert recording are unparalleled within the industry. Specified to the highest standard, utilising the latest Pro Tools HD3 technology, Studiocare customise each recording rig to exceed the expectations of our clients.

From the moment we receive your order, our hire team will liaise directly with your production staff, venue and FOH to ensure all aspects of the project run smoothly.  Our technical staff meticulously test and configure each system to ensure that it performs to its full potential, checking that every possible eventuality is met and considered. Digidesign

At the heart of each rig is a Digidesign HD3 Accel system, currently running Pro Tools HD 7.3.1. Systems can be tailored to meet your I/O and synchronisation requirements and are supplied with 192IO interfaces.

Neve  

Neve have produced some of the best pre amps ever made and we are able to supply these with our rigs for an unbelievable sounding front end. In particular, we can offer 8 channel 1084 Classic racks, 8, 4 & 2 channel 1081 Classic racks as well as 2 channel 1073 Classic racks.

Millennia

The 8 channel HV-3D is renowned the world over for its transparency and reliability, sounding as awesome across drums as it does an orchestra. The HV-3D is supplied as standard with a Studiocare location rig.

 XTA  

The XTA DS800 is our audio distribution system of choice on location. The DS800 splits from 8 inputs to 32 outputs with each input split into two transformer-isolated outputs (-10dB level) and two actively balanced outputs.

 DPA

Whether you require stereo or 5.1 ambient microphones for your recording, DPA are the first choice for any discerning engineer. Studiocare specify a 3532-S kit (A-B Stereo Kit consisting of two carefully factory-matched 4041-S omni condensers) alongside a trio of 4011 cardioid condensers for an unbeatable result.
