The RME Basic Remote Control works with the Fireface UFX, the Fireface UCX and other RME interfaces, released after 2011. It comes with the ADI-8 QS.
The BRC provides a solid metal case with a main encoder dial, two push buttons and a 5 m (16 ft.) cable. The BRC connects to a special port on the back of the main unit.
The Basic Remote Control is not a self-contained RME product, but can be ordered as a replacement part. With the Advanced Remote Control a version with 6 additional LED-equipped buttons is available.
