Purple Audio LILPEQR - 500-Series 2-Band Program EQ
The Purple Audio LILPEQr is a two-band program EQ built in the 500-Series standard. Although the LILPEQr is solid-state, it has been designed to emulate legendary tube EQs such as the Lang PEQ-1 and Klangfilm RZ062.
Used on a mix - with the EQ in passive mode - the LILPEQr will add air and weight whilst helping to glue it all together.
Switching the module into active mode for quick and intuitive adjustments to individual sources.
The LILPEQr features 2 high and low shelving bands, each with carefully selected corner frequencies. The high shelf has 5k, 10k and 'Air' settings, whilst the low shelf has 50, 80 and 160Hz. There is a 3-way toggle switch towards the bottom of the module, this can be set to bypass, 'In' which operates as a passive EQ, or 'In+Level' which activates the buffered 'Level' control.
