Mullard EZ80 Rectifier Valve

The Mullard EZ80 is a Rectifier Valve made in the famous Hungarian factory. The EZ80 full wave rectifier Is found in many broadcast receivers and domestic audio equipment. These have been very popular in high end audio application such as the excellent Border patrol equipment. These have the factory identification plate inside the valve confirming Tungsram manufacture.

The construction of the Tungsram EZ80 is identical to the Mullard EZ80 with the white marking on the centre of the anode plate.
The Tungsram EZ80 also like the Mullard, has a very solid construction, internally braced with thick grade glass which prevents microphonics and vibration.
