The M295 is corrected for near and mid field recording, and is characterised with a virtually linear upper stratum with only a very slight presence-rise, while the low-frequency content is naturally attenuated to compensate for proximity-build. This makes the M295 particularly well suited for close micng of solo instruments where the most natural rendering is desired.
The only condenser microphone currently manufactured in Europe that employs a metal diaphragm (as opposed to gold sputtered Mylar or PVC), the M-295 has a uniquely rich tone that makes it incredibly well suited for acoustic instruments of any time. From drums to Mandolin the M-295 will net the user a depth and texture like no other mic on the planet at any price.
