DPA ST4011C - d:dicate 4011C Pair

The DPA d:dicate 4011C is a compact cardioid condenser mic that performs with clarity, neutral sound and very low distortion. The C version of the 4011 has a more compact body design for easier positioning and discreet usage.

The 4011C’s cardioid pick up pattern provides great separation on stage, and performs well when used as a spot mic on guitar, piano, cymbals, percussion, wind instruments and vocals. When used as a stereo matched pair they excel for stereo recording of pianos, choirs, orchestras, ambient sounds and drum overheads.

The 4011C has a linear and flat frequency response both on and off axis at up to 90 degrees from the source, and the off axis response ensures any spill from other instruments is uncoloured. For use on drums or other high SPL instruments like trumpet and saxophone, the mic can handle 159dB and also includes a -20dB pad for extra overload protection.

Although the standard tolerances on DPA Reference Standard mics are extremely low, a stereo match is even closer. The specially selected DPA 4011C microphones are matched within ±1 dB on both frequency response and sensitivity.
