The DPA 4099 V is a super cardioid, pre-polarised condenser microphone with a clip specifically designed for use with violins, violas, mandolins, banjos and other thin bodied stringed instruments. With an adaptable clip that will fit instrument bodies with a depth between 35mm and 55mm, the mic secures softly yet securely to allow optimum placement of the mic capsule. The gooseneck clip is rugged and stable, meaning the capsule will not move during dynamic performance and can be repositioned with one hand.

The DPA 4099 V is a super cardioid, pre-polarised condenser microphone with a clip specifically designed for use with violins, violas, mandolins, banjos and other thin bodied stringed instruments. With an adaptable clip that will fit instrument bodies with a depth between 35mm and 55mm, the mic secures softly yet securely to allow optimum placement of the mic capsule. The gooseneck clip is rugged and stable, meaning the capsule will not move during dynamic performance and can be repositioned with one hand.

The 4099 condenser offers clear, natural and uncoloured sound with very high rejection of sound sources to the periphery of the capsule thanks to its super cardioid pick-up, allowing more gain before feedback will occur.  The capsule can be fit to a variety of wireless systems through DPA’s adaptor system and can also be powered by 48v phantom power through the include XLR connector.
