The DPA 4099P is a super-cardioid condenser mic pair for use with pianos.  Featuring a magnetic clip system that secures to the internal piano body frame, the mics can be optimally positioned to pick-up the piano strings, while being small enough to allow the piano lid to be closed if needed.

The DPA 4099 condenser capsule offers smooth distinct, clear sound coupled with high rejection of ambient sound sources thanks to its super cardioid pick-up pattern, meaning spill from other instruments is reduced. It also means higher gain can be achieved with less chance of feedback.  

The capsule can be fit to a variety of wireless systems through DPA’s adaptor system and can also be powered by 48v phantom power through the include XLR connector.
