DPA d:vote 4099 D - Supercardioid Condenser Microphone for Drums

The DPA 4099D is a super-cardioid pick up, pre polarised instrument condenser mic with a clip designed to mount and attach to drum kits. The clip can be mounted onto a snare or tom rim for precision positioning to achieve the best pick-up.

The 4099 condenser capsule offers solid, clear sound coupled with high rejection of ambient sound sources thanks to its super cardioid pick-up pattern, meaning spill from other parts of the drum kit is reduced. As a versatile instrument mic with a wide frequency response and high SPL handling, the 4099 is great for dealing with hard hitting drummers while retaining the drum tone.  

The capsule can be fit to a variety of wireless systems through DPA’s adaptor system and can also be powered by 48v phantom power through the include XLR connector.
