AKG D112

The AKG D112 has become world renowned as one of the best kick drum and bass sensitive mics ever made.  Perfect for both the studio and the stage, the D112 has an impressive SPL handling of 160dB, with no chance of distorting.

The diaphragm has a low resonance frequency to enable it to faithfully pick up the 100Hz and under frequency range, yet also has a subtle boost at 4kHz to add transient attack to ensure your sounds cut through the mix. Since its inception over 30 years ago, the D112’s design has remained unchanged thanks to its consistent reliability and ability to capture great sounds every time.
